"Accelerating Innovation in Oncology through AI"

Chairs Introduction & Summit Abstract

We are at a transformational period in Oncology; the overall mortality from cancer is gradually declining in the United States. This is attributable to approaches towards prevention, earlier detection and better treatment options. Precision approaches have improved outcomes even for several malignancies that present at an advanced stage of the disease. The ability to incorporate AI across all aspects of cancer care and research will accelerate the pace of innovation.  

We will explore how AI-powered tools enable prevention, cancer screening, diagnosis, therapy and clinical trials. Real-time analysis of complex genomic, multi-omics, and clinical data are driving personalized treatment strategies such as biomarker-based therapies and adaptive clinical trial designs. Additionally, we will showcase AI’s role in improving diagnostic accuracy through enhanced imaging analysis, automated pathology reviews, and predictive models for patient risk stratification. 

By integrating AI within translational research and precision oncology workflows, we aim to accelerate discoveries, enhance diagnostics, streamline clinical decision-making, and ultimately improve survival outcomes for patients with cancer. The potential of AI to accelerate patient matching and accrual to clinical trials will be another key feature of the meeting. This summitt provides actionable insights into the next frontier of AI-enabled precision medicine, emphasizing its transformative potential in improving cancer-related mortality worldwide.  The sessions will focus on cutting-edge advances in leveraging AI-driven approaches to enhance cancer screening, molecular profiling, treatment decision-making, and patient outcome prediction.
