Data Science Drives Integration of Biologic Technologies

We invite all NCI-Designated Cancer Center Shared Resources, as well as Biotech, Pharma, Informatics companies, and Community Oncology programs, to showcase their cutting-edge technologies at the CI4CC Fall 2024 Conference.The goal of the poster session would be to highlight novel use of data science to enhance analysis and integrate data from biological outputs of services from shared resources. Examples of shared resources that could be featured include Omics-based Services (Genomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics etc), Spatial Technologies, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Research Informatics, Imaging, Data Science, or any other core facility that demonstrates novel use of data science.


This is a unique opportunity to present innovative tools and services that are advancing cancer research and care. By sharing your expertise, you'll engage with a multidisciplinary audience, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in the rapidly evolving field of digital oncology.

Poster Abstract Submission

The Paul A. Fearn Young Professional Scholarship will be awarded to an eligible postdoctoral researcher, graduate student, or young professional focusing on advancements in informatics, human-computer interaction, or entrepreneurship and innovation in data science within the oncology field.


This scholarship, named in honor of Dr. Paul A. Fearn, recognizes the top poster presentation from each symposium session, with the winning presenter receiving special recognition. The awardee will also receive a modest stipend to support their participation at Ci4CC, furthering their data science work and growth in honor of Dr. Fearn's legacy.


Dr. Fearn was a highly respected leader in cancer informatics, known not only for his technical expertise but also for his creative strategies, innovative approaches, and empathetic leadership. He was a strong advocate for young professionals and students, creating an environment that encouraged skill development and confidence to advance their careers. Dr. Fearn provided steadfast guidance and support to his team and many others, promoting innovation and openness across fields, championing free thought, and embracing novel and unconventional ideas.

Our mission is to foster the creation of technologies, processes, and tools that empower patients and contribute to the progress of cancer research.
