An Invitation to Join the Edge of Data Governance Task Force

We are excited to invite you to join a newly formed Data Governance Task Force focused on advancing collaborative efforts across NCI-Designated Cancer Centers, Community Cancer Centers, Pharma, and BioTech. This initiative aims to accelerate the sharing, integration, and utilization of clinical & research data to drive innovation

Objective:  The task force will bring together experts from across the cancer care and cancer research community to:

• Discuss Best-in-Class data-sharing protocols that facilitate secure and efficient exchange of clinical and research data.
• Foster data collaboration between Industry & Cancer Centers, enhancing the ability to conduct multi-institutional studies and share data insights.
• Improve patient outcomes by expanding the opportunity to impact further the rapid activation of clinical trials and providing greater access to diverse data sets.
• Address regulatory and compliance challenges related to data privacy and security, ensuring adherence to all relevant standards.
• Everything Related to Available Data Commons to the public

Who Should Join:  We are seeking participation from key stakeholders including:

• Data scientists and informaticians

• Clinical researchers

• Oncologists and healthcare providers

• IT and data governance experts

• Representatives from Biotech and Pharma sectors
